“The Embarrassment Of The Free World”
Did you ever wonder for whom Justin Trudeau is annihilating Canada's human rights? It obviously isn't for Canada or the average Canadian. Does his wife know what he does for a living?
His approval rating (if you believe those polls) is less than that of Joe Biden's at the moment. A race to the bottom? Let's Go Brandon!
You know they just found another 'Epstein' accomplice dead in his prison cell; hung himself. That seems to be going around these days. I wonder if Justin believes this to be his fate should he relent in his assault on Canada? (LINK),
His half brother is making hints about Justin being black-mailed into taking Canada down this dark path, but what are brothers for, eh?
I read also that Christia Freeland, Canadian Finance Minister and deputy Prime Minister has some intention of keeping her new powers she grabbed by bringing in the Emergency Measures;
“ We now have the tools to follow the money. We can see what is happening and what is being planned in real-time and we are absolutely determined that this must end now and for good, “ (LINK),
She likes having control over Canadians personal finances.
Not surprisingly Justin and Christia went to the same international school! They, along with Jacinda Arden of New Zealand, Macron of France, Gavin Newsom, Bill Gates, Richard Branson, Jeff Bezos and a host of other world leaders and business giants past, present and future are proud to call themselves alumnus of the institution for 'Young Global Leaders' (LINK),
The story linked above is worth the time and might answer a few of those nagging questions you have about the world, but were afraid to ask.
Generally I would say that view from inside Canada is pretty bleak right now. Not as bleak as that of Australia, but we are less than two months into 2022, so give it time. More than 60% of Canadians say they don't like what is going on at the moment (more polls) yet I am willing to bet that the increasing number of Canadians who are waking up/paying attention find themselves in fear of this government and its self-appointed powers.
An excellent example of abuse of these new powers is provided by Doug Ford, Premier of Ontario. Doug has directed the Toronto Police during their storming of the Ontario/U.S. Border crossing and of the Ottawa protesters who used horses, batons, gun-butts and pepper spray. As a result of all the violence initiated when the police showed up, Doug is charging a woman with endangering the police horses by throwing a bicycle at them.
Problem is, it wasn't a bicycle, it was the mobility scooter of the woman trampled by those horses (LINK), (LINK), (LINK),
Another example of power abuse is the money grab. How many people do you know that have withdrawn most of their cash from the banks or closed their accounts completely upon hearing of the sweeping financial powers now being wielded by the Canadian government?
My bank branch, mostly a sleepy operation, had so many people in it on Thursday to get cash and/or close their accounts that it exceeded its 'covid capacity' and people were waiting outside in the cold.
Did you know that the on-line banking app's for all four major Canadian banks went down simultaneously under the strain of so many panicked transactions (LINK),
As mentioned above the polls are showing Canadians quickly losing faith in their government, but how does the rest of the world see Canada and Trudeau at the moment?
India's ambassador to Canada, Deepak Vohra remembers when Trudeau pledged his undying support for Indian farmers protesting Indian Prime Minister Modi's restrictive farm bills. Now he chafes at Trudeau's blatant hypocrisy towards those who trusted him, Canadians and Indians alike;
“The fellow who was trying to give us advice has actually gone into hiding,” “He has betrayed their trust. The saddest thing about betrayal is that it never comes from your enemies, it comes from those you have faith in. Some of the most poisonous people come disguised as friends and family.” (LINK),
Nasty! But hey, Canada has long had a bad reputation globally for our environmental and our human rights hypocrisy (LINK), so we should not be surprised to find that many nations we've crapped on in the past are taking this opportunity to twist the knife.
What of our neighbours to the south? The headline in a Feb. 16, 2022 article by Joe Concha from 'The Hill', an American political publication reads (LINK):
Science, Logic Not On Trudeau's Side In Trucker Convoy Battle
Mr. Concha writes that on Saturday Feb. 19, 2022, New Mexico Republican State Representative Yvette Herrell is offering political asylum to truckers who have had their bank accounts frozen and assets taken while being subjected to violent assaults by Toronto and Ottawa police.
“Just as we provide asylum for political prisoners, we should do the same for truckers who have been subjected to violence, had their property confiscated, and their bank accounts frozen by a government that is quickly becoming the embarrassment of the free world,”
“I am introducing legislation that would temporarily grant asylum to innocent Canadian protesters who are being persecuted by their own government. We cannot be silent as our neighbours to the north are treated so badly,”
As you would expect, American media champion CNN does not think that offering asylum is a good idea because Canadians, especially the protesters, are in the grip of madness!
"The state of emergency in place in Ottawa, where the police chief says COVID protests are ‘a nationwide insurrection driven by madness.’"
Madness? Darn Right!
Canadians Are Mad As Hell and We Are Not Going To Take It Anymore! (LINK)
In closing I offer these comments from Joe Biden on the sad passing of Justin Trudeau (LINK)
Thank You,
Ted
